GEOGRAPHY AND LOCATION
THE ROUTE OF EMOTIONS can be seen in two directions from the state of Maranhão, passing through the state of Piauí, ending the visit at the airport in the city of Fortaleza in the state of Ceará. Just as you can start from Ceará, and end in the state of Maranhão at São Luís airport, the state capital. During the expedition you visit great natural attractions of the Rota das Emoções, Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, The Delta of the Americas, Parnaíba Delta and Jericoacoara National Park. Each state offers a different experience in natural environments. The Route of Emotions can also be done in different ways today; On kitesurfing expeditions, luxury 4x4 expeditions, walking expeditions, or expeditions in small aircraft.
ABOUT THE LOCAL CLIMATE
Due to our proximity to the equator, around 300km to the south, we do not have a wide range of temperatures, during the day around 33° degrees, during the night around 27° degrees. It rains between January and May, strong winds between July and November.
BEST TIME TO DO THIS TOUR
THE ROUTE OF EMOTIONS can be best enjoyed between May and September, however, the natural environments are spectacular throughout the year, always leaving the possibility of visiting.

From the airport in São Luís, capital of Maranhão, the Costa Leste team transfers you to your accommodation (not included) on São Luís Island.
In São Luís, after the participants checked in, we organized a city tour of the historic center and the Reviver project.
The capital of Maranhão, holds the title of World Heritage Site, and we recommend the cultural center, many culinary and artisanal varieties of the state.
